I guess we’re not done with American Express quite yet. Yesterday I passed by the Madison Square Garden and saw a huge banner ad that looks something like this, but for the Tribeca Film Festival. Seems like part of the “my card, my life” campaign.

This reminded me that as the administrator of a site for quality DVD movies I should probably do a piece about the festival and point my readers to some award winners from past years. Now since less than 20% of all award winners since 2002 have been released on DVD the list will be quite short. We’ll post it here in the next few hours.
In the meantime you can read about the festival and its markets on IndieWire and decide if this is a vehicle for films or for the sponsors and the publicity they receive.
