Only 30 years ago, in the middle of the 1970’s, Iran was on a path to become an integral part of the modern-day world. But with money and power come great struggles. The issue of civil liberties has been very problematic in this country, even before the islamic revolution and the rise of the fundamentalist religious regime.

Today, while scaring us to death on one hand, they allow the release of wonderful movies on the other. And we are left to debate - is this really a Pyongyang-style government? Are the people treated fairly? Is there a chance for peace? And what about the bomb? These are all questions that relate to the immediate well-being of all of us.
